Michigan native. Graduated with a BS in Environmental Studies and Sustainability with a Biology minor from Northern Michigan University in 2014.
Completed a MA in Geography from Western Michigan University in 2016 with a thesis titled, "The Perception of Michigan Hunters Regarding Wolves (Canis lupus) and the Idea of a Wolf-Hunt as a Management Option."
Currently working on obtaining my PhD from Michigan Technological University School of Forest Resources and Environmental Science. Doctoral research titled, "A Dendrochronological Analysis of Moose Induced Suppression of Balsam Fir at Isle Royale National Park, Michigan, USA"
